ORT Moving in Kenya

Dear my spiritual Dad Tim ,Mum Brenda and our prayer partners, i once again greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our dear Lord savior.

As you know, my heart is for God to send His Holy Spirit upon the earth and change it for the glory of Christ. My life verse is Habakkuk 2:14: "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. It's what I pray for, preach about, and long for - that we will soon see this glorious spiritual awakening.I want you to join us on the coming week ORT 24/7 prayer Network,it will start from Monday next week  that is rising up and that is right now mobilizing thousands of people to pray for thousands of friends,we a announced this prayer meeting on our last week church leaders conference which was hosted here in Kisii Kenya .24/7 Operation Rolling Thunder Prayer network, it is taking the enormous power of social networking  and linking it with the supernatural power of prayer! This could be one of the most important breakthroughs for filling up the  nations in prayer. In just a very short period of time, there  could be millions a round east Africa starting from Kenya praying for the fulfillment of the glory of Christ.

“Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, among whom you are also the called of Jesus Christ: To all who are in the Rome (World) beloved of God, called to be saints:  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”  Romans 1:4-7 I have been sharing from my heart what the Lord has been sharing with me for the past few days concerning His ever present watchful eye on each of us.  Praise God we stand naked before Him as He works inside each of us to reveal Himself in all of His glory but through prayers our needs will be answered in Jesus Name.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:26 that our loving heavenly Father feeds the birds of the air and that we are of more value than they.  Glory hallelujah!Let us proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, Yours Son Pastor Thomas Okinyi

ORT Prayer Bring God’s Glory - Myanmar CONECTer Reports

ORT Prayer Bring God’s Glory
Prayer is talking with Jesus. Prayer is an offering up of our desires to God for all things lawful and needful with humble confidence that we shall obtain them through the meditation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. According to Dr. H.W Frost, “prayer is worship addressed to the Father, in the name of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.”

In our last ORT prayer at Mt. Horeb Prayer House of Hakhalay on 21-22 of May, 2011, 40 prayer warriors from seven denominations who are a full members of WMI had fasting and prayer for 48 hours (two whole days) as a mass prayer like the army ambushed the enemies. We had not only prayer but also praise and worship. In our prayer, we also prayed for Tim’s families, WMI ministries, WMI prayer partners, all CONECTers, persecuted Christians in the world, for all our needs like foods crisis, water problem, healing, salvation of Myanmar people and for peace of Jerusalem. We experienced Holy Spirit’s presence among us, many of us prayed in Spirit and tongues. In our ORT, one young lady (Miss. Duh Chin), demon possessed and paralyzed was brought to us for healing. She was among us for two days, and God performed a miracle to her and she was completely healed. Praise the Lord! Then she shared her testimonies, saying that she committed and dedicated the rest of her life to serve the Lord as possible means. Through ORT, we saw God’s miracles, wonders. We give our thanks to God firstly, then Tim’s families, all prayer warriors, all who are the Davidic company and all the CONECTers. God bless you all.

Myanmar CONECTer - Rejoicing in the midst of Persecution

Rejoicing in the midst of Persecution-Mt 5:11,12
The gospel of Matthew-5 records the Beatitude. The Christianity is not merely receiving eternal life, but it is matter of living for Christ or living with Christ in this world for His glory. As Phi 1:29 said" for it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe but also to suffer for His sake. When I was born again I thought that I will not face any persecution or headache for my Christianity. I was born in Myanmar who persecute Christians mercilessly. Unless I know the truth, there may be a question to God, why Lord persecution? But His word tell me that "Rejoice in persecution , because there is a reward kept for you in heaven". Typically we may not be able to rejoice when we are in persecution, but we need to look at heavenly king like Stephen and hear His comforting words of our dear Lord, our forerunner so that we may rejoice through Him who strengthens us. May God bless dear readers to be able to rejoice in the midst persecution.
Amen.
(Tim adds - John Mark saw 25 people he water baptized last year imprisoned for the gospel's sake.

Washington State CONECTer Jason Hubbard reports that during ORT Phase I
BELLINGHAM, Wash.
Bellingham Mayor Dan Pike issued a formal apology Thursday to the Chinese community for the Chinese expulsion 125 years ago.

Pike says the apology helps people understand that things that were done by people and the government were wrong.

The Bellingham Herald reports the apology and related events this week in the city are part of the Chinese Expulsion Remembrance Project this year, including Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Mount Vernon.

ORT Initiates Forming Health Care Councils - Bellingham WA & Portland OR

5/16/2011

Part of the ORT strategy initiates the forming of strategic councils.  These councils meet regularly throughout the year to determine what does the Church need to pray and what should the Church (members of Christ's Church called into the healthcare sphere) be doing to express Christ's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

For example, we held an ORT Kick Off in Portland hosted by Ap. Paul Mackie in March 2011.  I taught them about how to form the councils.  By May a chairperson (retired doctor) was selected and they began to host their own council meeting to discover what transformation would look like in healthcare in the greater Portland region.

Here is an example from our WA ST CONECTer in Bellingham.  I helped them form their 7 councils in Nov. of 2007 during a conference on "How to Form a Transformation Task Force."  They've been operating for over 3 years now and here is a recent example of what their healthcare council is doing:

You are invited by the Health Care Sphere Team for an important vision casting meeting!!

Jeremy Schweder and Kelsie Bosman, leaders of the Health Care Sphere at Light of the World Prayer Center (LOWPC), are holding a meeting May 28, Saturday 11-1pm at the Prayer Center. We would like to share our vision, as well as hear what God is speaking to you within the context of this sphere. We believe God is moving and is asking believers in this season to get into position and alignment with His Heart, His Will and His Ways so that we can become extensions of Him to heal the sick and offer hope.

(just some of the many verses): JEHOVAH-RAPHA: Ex 15:26, Psalms 103:1-4, Pr 4:20-22, Isaiah 53:5, Isaiah 61:1, Matthew 10:1,12:15,14:36b, Acts 4:29-31.

The Vision: To see unity and a melding of health care and faith for healing in Whatcom County! Whether it is practicing medicine, preventative care, or praying for healing… it is for the glory of God to see each of these methods used and relied on to bring restoration to His people! Our desire is to connect health care workers with various ministries throughout the city to promote unity and faith, and testify of the healing power of God at work over this region.

We all need encouragement and inspiration. Think of what it would truly look like as Heaven’s Army is positioned with Faith-full Believers– Giving us the same Authority & Power as Jesus had by His Spirit to go forward in love and compassion, praying for the sick and setting captives free.

We believe for the day when:

Can you picture this?
**What has God put on your heart?

Significant Fact: Did you know St. Joseph’s Hospital was founded on the mission of Jesus Christ in 1891? … What does this 120th year hold?!

Please join us May 28, Saturday 11-1pm at Light of the World Prayer Center! We are looking forward to meeting you! We are excited to let the Lord guide our time, begin building a team, and lead us forward so this can truly be His “operation!”

Gainesville ORT - Signs, Legislation in FL ST & Vision for 24/7

5/16/2011

Gainesville FL CONECTer Report on 5-10-2011:

During the week of prayer April 28th through May 5th, the National Day of Prayer, 16 local congregations participated in 24 hour prayer watches. Three additional congregations prayed through Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday the previous week – for a total of 19 congregations covering our city, state and nation in prayer.

Here are a few of the results that we have heard of. This report is respectfully mindful that prayer has gone up by other Christian groups and prayer efforts for the areas that will be mentioned, but the fruition came during ORT.

Operation Rolling Thunder (ORT) began at 7pm April 28th, the day after the horrific outbreak of tornados throughout the southeast. Although our area was under severe weather watches and heavy dark cloud cover the entire day, the only inclement weather experienced was a gentle soaking rain that commenced at 7pm (the very hour ORT was launched) and lasted through the first night with distant rolling thunder. This front ushered in a marvelous cool front that provided gloriously beautiful weather for the entire week and during the National Day of Prayer event.

During ORT the Florida legislature was in session and approved several pro-life bills that now await Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s signature. These three bills will provide: a woman with an ultrasound before an abortion; prevent plans in the new federal health insurance exchanges from covering abortions; and place an amendment on the 2012 ballot that would prevent taxpayer funding of abortion.  It is notable that the ultrasound legislation was vetoed last year by former Gov. Charlie Crist. Much work still needs to be done in this area to protect the lives of the unborn, but these measures will have life saving impact. We still seek God’s mercy and assistance with completely removing this scourge.

Most notably on our ORT watch was the final judgment rendered to Osama Bin Laden on Sunday, May 1st. While we do not rejoice in the death of our enemy, and readily acknowledge that our city’s prayers alone did not release vindication, it is notable and must be mentioned.

There is much work to be done in our city. And while the local gathering for the National Day of Prayer was mediocre at best, there is a new interest among pastors to work towards covering the area in 24/7 prayer. Our local Christian Pastors Association has expressed a desire to enlist 31 congregations to cover one 24 hour period per month, thus implementing non-stop prayer and invite God’s presence into our city and region. For those that were able to participate in the Gathering, the Lord’s presence was there in a sweet tangible way.

The following day, May 6th, was marked with an unexpected gentle rain, when no rain had been in the forecast.

To God alone, belongs all glory and honor.

Respectfully yours,

Carl & Brenda Krames

Salvations, Water Baptisms, Healings & More - Bellingham WA

CONECTer Jason Hubbard Reports 5-12-2011.  This is the effect of God's continual presence in a community.  The key to His continual presence is 24/7/365 prayer.  ORT is a strategy that launches 24/7 quickly and effeciently.

We  we had a guy show up who wanted to get his heart right with God(Danell) and we prayed over him, God radically delivered him, he called a bunch of friends the next day confessing sin, and then was baptized at CTK evening service.  Jeremy took him to Freedom church with his fiancé and she gave her heart to Christ.  Danell happens to be a drummer, J  and we have been praying for drummers!

During the Burn we prayed much for Western and at CCF, Friday night just as we finished the BURN, God poured out his Spirit and God granted them the gift of repentance, many of the 500plus kids confessed sin publicly!  This is always the first step in revival!  Glory!

Saturday after the BURN, the Lord showed up in the healing prayer time 12:00-2:00 and God healed Matt Coles’ leg(one of IM).  The team watched his leg grow out and line up perfectly with his other leg,....

Vancouver WA - New City Prayer Center Birthed

5/16/2011

WA ST CONECTer Jason Hubbard presented ORT to the Church in Vancouver.  He reports: We launched a prayer center in Vancouver, WA, Christian Jung who was with us at ORT kick-off, and they have 5 local churches starting on ORT so far!  Their house of prayer launches officially on National Day of Prayer, interesting, here in Bellingham, and Spokane, and Vancouver, we are all doing 24hr worship/prayer following our NDP events, J  that was entirely a spirit-led thing!

(Tim Taylor) - I am praising God because in 1992 the Lord gave my wife and I a vision to see 12 city prayer centers birthed.  In May - July 2008, through Opertion Rolling Thunder we saw 5 city prayer centers launched.  This is the 12th city prayer center that ORT has helped launch since 2008.  We are rejoicing and have expanded our vision.  Praise God, this was done through a son in the Lord.  Well done Jason.
