Yakima WA - Drug Deaths See Sharp Decline

Operation Rolling Thunder is a 24/7/365 prayer strategy that invites Christ's abiding presence in a city.  The responsibility for prayer rolls over from one church to another day by day.  Apparently, so do the testimonies.

Just a little over two weeks ago I reported how God's Abiding Presence in Yakima Lowers Crime 50% click here.  Since then they've also added two more churches bringing the total to 36 churches praying and working together each month.  Now Linda Isaella, the Yakima CONECTer, just sent another marvelous report stating that drug deaths dropped sharply compared to the last year while homicides and crime with guns continue to decline as well.  Click here for Corner's report shows fewer drug deaths in 2011.

Jesus is glorified when we bear much fruit.  It is powerful what the Church can do when we work together in a community.  Well done Yakima.
